  OPEN SHOW NOVEMBER 2022

A very nice invitation to return to the Channel Islands to Judge the JERSEY OPEN SHOW sponsored by Jersey Country Life Magazine RURAL.  I had a very good entry in all the Groups and some quality dogs and bitches entered.  The acceptance of my decisions was very nice and to hear the applause for the winners was so very nice too.  Dogs and Bitches were all presented well and in lovely condition and clean.   The hospitality of the Secretary, Officers and Committee was very generous and friendly. The quality of the dogs and bitches was high but some were let down by their owner, handlers’ own handling.  Thank you all for my entries and thank you to my very capable steward Katya Lynnyk-Ali.

ALLENS’ MIA BLUE DREAM SEEKER FOR RIBANS (IMP) Very attractive Tri coated bitch pup just 9 months, stood on the table with confidence and having a fabulous outline, on going over felt nothing cloddy and that all was in the right place of this very feminine girl.  Very elegant feminine tapering head to her blunt muzzle, well set on to skull her well shaped ears, dark brown well shaped eyes.  Nicely arched neck with a nice frill, to sloping shoulders to a level backline with a nice rise over her loin and drop at croup to a lovely carried tail.  Body with ribs well sprung covered in this double long harsh out hair.  Muscular hind quarters correct return of stifle and strong hocks moved out gracefully and sound on neat well boned legs and close feet.  BP and BOB

ALLENS’ MILESEND SUMMBER BREEZE FOR RIBANS (IMP) Very attractive and lovely size and shape to this 6 year old male presented in a full double TRI coloured coat well marked.  Masculine tapering head, skull fraction wide, super dark eye with an alert look.  Well placed and used ears.  Holds head well on an arched neck with good ruff into sloping shoulders, lovely back line with a slight rise over loin with a strong croup and fall to well set on tail. Lovely angle body with well sprung ribs and having depth and substance.  Beautiful condition and presentation to his coat.  Lovely legs and tight feet moved very soundly  BD and rBOB

STEWART-SMITHS’ INVANSE NO APPROVAL NEEDED very impressive on the stance but this 19 months bitch needs plenty of socializing to get her settled.  Beautiful long head shape, slight stop, nice muzzle with a lovely black mask and dark alert eyes. Well set and used ears.  Holds head well on moderate arched neck into well laid back flat shoulders, firm backline to well set and carried tail.  I would have liked a little more depth of chest, well made body  with enough substance with well sprung ribs.  Strong hindquarters with enough return to stifle and let down hocks.  Well boned legs and tight feet.  Super double rich reddy fawn jacket with good texture. At first was moved out far too fast, but once settled and handled properly had a nice easy brisk stride covering the ground well. BOB

BENNETTS’ WAKEMATT POLLY OF JASANDOR attractive feminine head tapering well,  erect ears well used, dark alert eyes, good stop to strong muzzle.  With correct dentition.   Strong well muscled neck into sloping shoulders just a slight roaching in her sloping backline to a strong croup and a well placed tail.  Lovely conditioned black and gold coat, over a correctly ribbed back body with good strong loin.  Well angulated front with elbows in on good boned forelegs, feet spoiled by being open and hare like.   Muscular hindquarter good return of stifle and let down hocks, a powerful mover covers the ground well and soundly.   1. BOXALLS’ TESORO ITALIANO BOSCHI VECCHI A young 8 months male for me he was on the big side and certainly does not need to grow on.  A strong  broad skull to his wedge shaped head. Ears set well apart but although very thick and are needing to be erect soon.  Dark eyes good pigmented rims, black lips, nose.  Strong arched neck into a body with firm backline to a tail needing to be higher set on but carried fairly well over his back.  Plenty of substance being broad and deep, well sprung ribs muscular quarters for age with good return of stifle.  Attractive thick harsh coat with soft white undercoat.  Good bone to legs and feet that are ok.  Moved out soundly. BP

  1. NEWCOMBE’S SAMSPRING YOUR ULTIMATE GIFT very smart 14 months bitch of lovely size and shape and stands well on the stack.  Beautiful head nice strong skull well set and used erect ears. Nice defined area to her wedge-shaped head expressive dark eyes well pigmented, dark winter nose.  Strongly arched well held neck to sloping shoulders with a strong backline and profuse tail carried back over her back.  Lovely body with breadth and depth with substance and ribs well back into a strong loin.  Nice depth to chest with well boned forelegs of nice length.  Muscular hindquarters with good return of stifle and let down hocks and tight feet.  Powerful mover just a little close behind but sound. BOB

MARETT’S TWINAN LETS BE A CLOWN AT GEYTECKELS  lovely to look at on the table although she is inclined to throw away her stance with her front feet but watch her move the action both front and back is perfect with lovely drive.  Lovely strength to her tapering head, good skull and well set and carried erect ears dark eyes.  Lovely chest to a body with a lovely strength to its  correct top line, super substance with ribs well back into a very strong loin.  Correct very powerful hindquarters.  Lovely attractive look to her clean well presented  black brindle and white coat. SANGAN’S JACHELM THAT’S THE SPIRIT AVEC LEBOURG very attractive well built B/W 7 months old bitch puppy with a lovely head, nice ear set and carriage, dark alert eyes.  Good neck into well laid back shoulders and a firm backline over a body with ribs well back into a strong short loin.  Beautifully looking coat of good length cleanly presented with a lovely gloss shine.  Nicely angulated front and rear, well muscled hindquarters. Nicely balanced and boned legs and tight feet.  Very free sound mover with a good stride fraction close behind. BP

CULLEN’S TONKORY RUNNING ORDER lovely 6 year old bitch works well with her handller and moves out well at good speed albeit a fraction close behind she has an excellent side stride and excellent gait.  Very feminine head well built nice ear set and use, dark expressive eyes, correct jaw line.  Good neck to her correct backline to a well carried tail.   Well ribbed back body with depth and substance, nice legs and neat feet.  Beautifully presented and in a gloss finish to her lovely b/w jacket.  BB and BOB

BEAUMONT AND BISSONS’ WOODHENGE STARS IN YOUR EYES FOR BEAULAMEY a good size and overall shape to this 10 months old bitch with a very feminine foxy headed lady with super set and carried ears, dark alert eyes and a good jaw.   Nice neck to shoulders, firm level back of good length to well set and carried tail.  Lovely body shape just needs more weight to fill out her frame, well angled with enough depth to chest and well muscled with good return of stifle, let down hocks.  Lovely coat condition of a short rich fawn and white with a soft thick undercoat.  Very sound free mover on short well boned legs and tight feet. LAWSONS’ KIPIPIRIKING BLUE BANDANA (ATC)   So lovely to go over with a lovely overall shape, size and balance to this well marked grey and white 2.5 years old dog with a stunning head piece,  with well set and used ears, nice eyes set well with kind expression.  Lovely long arched neck into his shoulders with a nice rise over his loin with a strong croup to well set and held tail.  Lovely depth to his chest well angled front with well boned straight legs of good balance, neat hare feet.  Good depth to brisket and nice tuck to loin, well ribbed back body.  Strong hindquarters, good bend of stifle and strong hocks. A powerful stylish mover and so very sound.  BD AND BOB
  2. LAWSONS’ KIPIPIRIKING LUNA MAY (ATC)  Is similar in outline but not the balance of my winner this 18 months old very prety and solidly coated white with one eye patch.  Lovely feminine head, with a nice skull well set ears, and excellent eye colour for her coat.  Lovely clean neck into good shoulders and with a nice rise over her loin to a fall at croup.  Well ribbed body with depth to brisket and tuck up.  Muscular hindquarters, straight well boned legs and tight hare feet.  Moved out well not a lot of reach or drive.

LAWSONS’ RANVELL BLUE BREEZE  An attractive 4.5 year ol dog presented well in a Cream brindle and white well coated upstanding male.  A little on the bigger side for me but with a nice overall shape and good balance, but on going over found that he was carrying far too much weight which certainly spoilt his movement.  Nice head of good length, correct skull, dark eyes and well set ears.  Good neck length nice shoulders with a reasonable rise over his loin.  Muscular quarters, nice stifle and hocks.  Nice legs and hare feet, again spoiled by having too long nails that need to be trimmed.

  1.  OFFICERS’ EERI CATCH THE WIND  a good looking 6 year old for me was a lovely shape with a good body, super condition to her fawn brindle and white coat.  On going over she appeared to be head shy and had a slight problem with one eye.  Super neck to shoulder and having a slight rise over her loin.  Well set tail and strong hindquarters and stifle.  Well built and balanced straight boned legs with hare feet needing her nails to be trimmed as far too long.  Moved out well just turns in one foot coming towards you but sound both ways with free easy movement.  BB  RBOB

COLEMAN’S ONIASID MELISANDRE YGRITTE  nice overall size and shape to this 5.5 year old bitch nice to go over on the table but carrying too much weight which did spoil her outline and movement.  Lovely long lean feminine head, sweet expression from dark eyes and well hung ears.  Lovely neck to shoulder and her topline is held well even with the extra weight.  Well ribbed back into a short loin.  Lovely keel and depth to chest.  Muscular hindquarter with good bend of stifle and let down hock.  Beautifully presented skin and her red coat had a lovely gloss and was in super condition.  BB BOB

MARETT’S GAYTECKELS MUSICAL MELODY  Very attractive well coated and presented silver with lighter socks.   Good length to her head, nice arching to her skull with well hung ears, a good stop, narrowing to a blunt muzzle with a nice beard.  Dark alert eyes under good brows having a moderate neck to good shoulders, muscular forequarters. Elbows held in on straight forelegs.  Correct length to her back with a lovely body, strong thighs and short second thigh strong legs and tight round feet.  Moved out well and soundly.  BB AND BOB

MARETT’S JSY CH IDEFIX DAY BREAK AT GAYTECKELS Pdh  this is a lovely veteran dog with a very determined character.  A 9 year old with a masculine well shaped head with correct arching to the skull, and stop, strong muzzle, nice eye shape of a good colour, well hung ears.  Head well furnished with nice brows and beard.  Good neck to shoulders into a strong well muscled back of good length to strong hindquarters with strong thighs and hocks.  Presented in good trimmed skin and coat lovely rich silver colour with lovely grey furnishings.  Well ribbed body with lovely body and substance.  Very sound mover on short well boned legs and tight round feet.  Carried tail a little high today.  BD   B Vet

MARETT’S GAYTECKELS BOTTOMS UP Pdh   A very feminine well built 7 year old in super condition for her age.  Strong long head with a good skull and stop with narrowing to her bearded muzzle.  Lovely dark eyes under good brows, well hung ears.  Super neck to shoulders into a long strong back with strong rump and hindquarters, nice tail set and carriage.  Good depth of chest with short straight well boned legs standing a little close together, round tight feet.  A lovely well presented grey well trimmed skin and coat with nice skirt. MARETT’S GAYTECKELS SISTER ACT   sister to my winner and 7 years old  not the same strength.  Another being very feminine and in lovely ondition for her age.  Nice head with stength, good skull and well hung ears.  Very attractive dark eyes under good brows,  good stop, narrowing to her strong muzzle with blunt end and with nice beard. Holds head well on a good length of neck into a firm long back to a strong rump and quarters.  Well ribbed body covered by silver coat with lighter skirt.  Stands a little out at elbow, and does not have the hindquarters of her sister.   Moved out ok

Very feminine long lean head, nice flat skull well set apart erect ears, good stop and well set dark expressive eyes under good brows.  Good strong neck to shoulders firm level short back to high set and rooted tail.  Lovely depth of chest to a well ribbed back deep body with nice substance, very well presented and trimmed solid black coat with a correct skirt.  Well angled front with short well boned legs and tight round feet.  Strongly angled hindquarters with short let down hocks.  Very sound positive mover who covered the ground well, using her hocks well, so very sound.  BB BOB

MICHELS’ PEKEHUIS SORCEROR AT KSARINA Looking good for his 9 years and was still  nice to go over with nice balance and well ribbed body and having good weight.  So well presented and coated with a harsh stand out shaded cream body coat.  Really nice head shape with flat skull and well set on ears, black mask, black round clear eyes , good nose and jaw with correct teeth at his age.   Short straight back to a high set returned tail carried over his back.  Nicely put together body well ribbed, covered in a profuse shaded cream coat with nice cream tail.  Short well boned legs and round feet.  Very sound free mover looks good for his age.  Was a very good weight BD BOB

WALKERS’ JAHNEEMAS LOVES TOPARTI   This boy 16 months old looked nice on the stack but for me on going over him I found him lacking the dainty, being strongly built and just a little too much of him for me.  Masculine head with a strong skull, a very deep stop and short fore face.  Large wide set eyes, well used erect ears. Correct bite.  Moderate neck to shoulders well laid back, firm backline to high set tail.  Good depth of chest with nice straight forelegs.  Well ribbed back body.  Smooth glossy coat of red and white with nice markings. Strong hindquarters, muscular with good return of stifle.  Moved out but lacked that brisk action but sound both ends BD RBOB

BISSONS’ JICARA DONE’N DUSTED Such an incredible condition and presentation of this 8 year old compact dainty bitch looked full of character on the stance and was just as nice to go over.  Lovely well rounded head with a nice apple dome to her skull, a good stop, and short muzzle with lovely teeth.  Super cheeky expression from clear dark eyes. well set apart and placed erect ears. Lovely neck to well laid shoulders firm level backline to a high set and well carried tail.  Good depth of chest and brisket well positioned dainty forelegs .  Lovely body with ribs well back covered in a beautiful solid smooth red gloss jacket. Strong muscular hindquarters with good return od stifle.  Neat feet. A brisk powerful with reach and drive holding topline firm.  BB  BOB

MCFARLANES’ JESANDAKAI KOI NO YOKAN nice size and shape to this compactly built male 3.5 years old and presented nicely in a profuse black and white coat.  Good head size with a broad skull nice front piece and well set ears. Large dark eyes well set apart white showing in eyes to give that look.  Short muzzle good teeth.  Good length of neck into his compact body, good chest depth, nicely ribbed back.  Strong hindquarters.  Nice legs and hare feet.  Once he settle down was sound with a nice tail carriage. ALSFORD’S THELBERN M’LADY JAYNE  Very attractive, dainty and compact 3.5 year old bitch just so nice to go over with a lovely large foxy look to her head, slightly flat skull well set small erect ears, good stop and short muzzle. Pretty dark eyes nicely rimmed.  Short neck with nice abundant ruff, short back with good backline to well set returning tail with super plume.  Nice depth to chest, a  compact body well ribbed back presented so well in solid orange coat with cream plume.  Nice hindquarters. fine boned legs and small tight feet. Stylish mover who moved out so briskly and free with handler.  BB BOB

SCHOFILED’S RUDOLI HIGH LIFE another very attractive bitch now just 4 years old and looking very smart, just not as compact as my winner.  Nice feminine head with a foxy look, flat skull well set ears used well, dark expressive eyes, short muzzle.  Short neck nice ruff.  Short back but slightly longer than my winner.  Tail with nice cream plume but not set so high.  Good chest depth well ribbed body covered in a shaded cream profuse coat.  Nice straight fine boned legs dainty feet.  Moved out soundly RB RBOB

WALKERS’ KARAMOUCHE MY LITLE PONY FOR PETWALK. 6 month very feminine bitch puppy.  Lovely outline and size with a nice body covered in a pink mottled skin with white trims.  Very pretty well shaped head with good white crest and white mane with well set ears of good size well fringed with white, very dark expressive eye, nice muzzle and correct bite.  Holds head proudlly on good neck with nice shoulders, lovely level firm backline to nicely set tail having a well feathered white plume.  Lovely well ribbed back body with nice substance.  Good front and rear angles.  Fine boned legs and hare feet. Such a happy stylish mover should have a bright future. BP BOB

  1. STEWART-SMITHS’ FOREPAWS DUTCH COURAGE just over the year old this nice sized male with a good overall shape on the stack. On going over I found him to be lacking in the dainty, was far too strong in skull with ears set too far apart although with beautiful fringes. Deep stop, and thick in the muzzle.  Lovely alert expressive dark eyes with attractive head markings well marked Tri. Good moderate neck, nice shoulder placement firm fairly long backline to high set on returned tail with good plume, nice sprung ribs, well turned stifle and short hocks.  Lovely marked Tri flowing full coat but lacking the soft silky texture and quite harsh to the touch.  Has nice powerful stride but toes slightly in at back and lifts front legs too high but good mover. BD BOB

KING CHARLES SPANIEL

MCFARLANES’ GRACIES MARADECO KING just over the 18months old this black and tan stood well just a little unbalanced and also being up on the leg making him lose his compact and cobbiness.  Strong fairly large head well domed skull,well hung ears with nice feathering, full open dark eyes, big black spongey nose, short square muzzle slightly undershot.  Head held well on good neck length, nice backline fraction long, well set and held tail.  Lovely deep chest with enough width, nice body with ribs well back in a long loin.  A good well rounded rump, and return of stifle, in lovely coat presentation with a beautiful gloss to his black. Once settle although unsteady was sound and covered the ground well. BD BOB

SCHOFIELDS’ MANATEK COVER GIRL AT RUDOLI Lovely to see this RUSSIAN TOY but I do not think I have ever seen or judged before a coatless.  So everything is in the right place and of a lovely size and shape and very nice to go over.  Very pretty head,  strong skull lovely held and positioned ears, deep stop, well set alert dark eye.  Fairly short muzzle nice nose, correct bite. Holds neck on good shoulders with a firm backline to high set well held tail.  Lovely rich coat colouring with nice gloss over a body well ribbed back.  Nice front angled and hindquarters with good bend of stifle.  Fine boned legs and fine feet.  Very sound free mover. POLTAVA an impressive upstanding Russian bitch 20 months old and certainly has developed well but all her good points and qualities have been lost in that she is carrying far too much weight.  Fabulous head well presented and trimmed, strong flat skull, stop, dark eyes under eyebrows, well set and hung ears, strong slightly shorter in muzzle strong jaws with nice beard.  Powerful neck to shoulders well laid back strong withers onto a great level backline. Strong rump well muscled croup with a well set tail carried well.   Strong body well ribbed and sprung back body having too much substance over her ribs that her tuck was lost.  Beautiful condition and presentation to her solid black wave to thick jacket with a lovely gloss and texture.  Hindquarters well trimmed and muscular.  Large feet. SHARROCKS’ EDISON-EIGER VOM RICKENTAL A 5.5year old ENTLEBUCHER MOUNTAIN DOG of a nice height with a body that is longer.  Masculine wedge shaped head with nice clean lines.  Flat skull of a nice breadth, muzzle shorter with tight jaw and lips.  Nice shape to dark eyes with dark rims.  Nice hung ears well shaped. Muscular neck to strong sloping shoulders well angled front assembly, elbows close in on straight balanced well boned legs with tight feet.  Level backline, well bodied with that extra length to his height well sprung ribs covered in a beautiful conditioned short harsh shiny TRI coloured jacket.  Moved out well with powerful stride but was unsettled and not confident by or with being handled. STEWART- SMITH S’ FOREPAWS FURY This was an exciting find on the day a puppy SHIH TZU just in puppy and developing nicely into an adult.  Really impressed by her head shape with a nice tied topknot, well hung ears, dark cheeky bright eyes, short muzzle with moustache and beard.  Good neck carriage into well laid shoulders and firm level backline,  to a high set tail that could be a fraction higher but beautifully carried forward over her back.  Strong well developed body with ribs well back into a strong loin. Powerful hindquarters, correct return of stifle and let down hocks.  Short well boned legs and tight round feet, very happy character who moved out covering the ground well and soundly with a real push from her rear pads.  BP BOB

HANNIGAN AND WHITEHEADS’ ZILCAN BLACK MAJIC (ATC)  very nice size and overall build and balance to this nicely bodied 9 months youngster.  Very nice head shape well positioned and hung ears, dark bright glint to her eye.  Would have liked more neck, but well set into shoulders.  A firm backline at present running up to her high set on tail carried well with a strong rump and croup.  Well ribbed body with nice substance and depth covered in a solid black coat with good shine and having a good length with a lovely texture.  Well balanced and boned legs covered in a nice coat.  Moved out well with nice action just running little close front and back.

WALKER AND JOURNEAUX’S PETWALK INSPIRATIONAL  A very eye catching 19 months bitch with a lovely and correct outline and a nice size.  Well shaped head correct skull and stop small fore face and muzzle.   A good fall of hair over her dark forward eyes nice moustache.  Head held well on a long neck set well into her shoulders, a firm backline unfortunately rising to her tail  which was high set on and carried well.  A good chest with enough depth, well ribbed back body, strong hind quarters and let down hocks. All covered in a light cream with a slight black tipping, correctly textured coat of lovely length.  Nice boned legs and tight feet, stylish mover covered the ground well but not putting a lot into her action.BB BOB

SMITHER’S WATERSPRIDE TAKE THE LEAD AT MEANTMORE  very sweet nice size and correct shape to this 9 months TOY very nice to handle with a nice body and good substance for her age and build.  Very feminine head nice coated head well held, pretty open dark eyes, well hung and furnished ears, tight lips, good dentition.  Holds head smartly onto a long neck into well laid shoulders and a firm short back to high set tail with nice plume end.  Lovely body covered in a stunning solid black stand off,  harsh textured coat.  Fine boned straight forelegs, hindquarters well muscled for her age, with good stifle and let down hocks well coated and presented. Slightly worried by the lead on the move which spoilt her action. BP BOB

RICCIS’ VORMUND HE’S A CRACKER (ATC)  a 17 months quality dog ‘so well named’ a lovely small size to this well balanced strongly built boy.  Broad flat skull with well set erect ears,  a definite stop, nicely developed cheeks with narrowing from skull to his strong muzzle and nice tight lips.  Small well set dark cheeky eyes.    Muscular thick arched neck into slightly sloping shoulders, nicely angled from shoulders to upper arm with elbows well in on balanced well boned legs with tight feet. A nice body with good weight and ribs well sprung back into a short strong loin. Beautifully presented with a clean condition rich clear red jacket with hard stand away hair with a nice soft undercoat.  Muscular hindquarters good return of stifle neat feet.  This boy moves well but needs to be handled, his handler needs to realize he has a good dog and if he is going to show him he needs to be positive in his handling and ownership of this show dog. MICHELS’ KAVACANNE ORZO This is a nice example of the breed from this talented kennel stood covering the ground with a super clean outline.  Just 3 year old he is a strongly made medium build having a well shaped head with clean lines, lovely ear set and dark expressive eyes under good brows, powerful jaws with lips defined.  Muscular neck to well laid sloping shoulders with good angles to the upper arm,  elbows held in at the brisket on straight well boned legs and tight feet.  Firm short back to strong width of croup with correct set on tail.  Good body with depth and a slight tuck to the loin.  Lovely body and coat covered in liver roan.  Strong hindquarters good stifle.  Moved out very soundly with good action. WHITES’ GRANROSE BLUE TOPAZ  (ATC KCJ)  This stunning well trimmed and presented young year old bitch just stood out for quality and breed type.  Very nice to go over with a sweet temperament, beautiful head shape with ears well set in line with her dark expressive eyes, nice chiselling, good stop, correct square muzzle and bite.  Nice clean neck into well laid back sloping shoulders and into a firm slightly sloping wide topline over a short back to well set on tail just carried little high but in true merry fashion.  Correctly angled front with depth to chest, straight well boned forelegs and small tight feet.  Lovely muscular compact body well ribbed back to short loin covered in a quality well marked flat blue roan jacket with nice feathering.  Well muscled hindquarters with good return of stifle and let down hocks.  Balanced short well boned legs very sound with sound action front and back.  BB BOB

WHITES’ GRANROSE GOLDEN CHANCE (ATC KCJ)  another stunning breed specimen just on the big side of the standard for me.  A 5 yearold with a lovely masculine head, nice skull with ears well set on level with his eyes and furnished with nice feathering.  Nice chiselling, good stop, well set apart dark eyes with a gentle look.  Good nose.  Muscular clean neck to slightly sloping shoulders and wide topline to well set and carried merry cocker tail.  Muscular body with good depth of chest, ribs well sprung back into a short loin.  Good width and tone to his hindquarters with a good return of stifle and let down strong hocks and tight catlike feet.  Well trimmed and presented solid rich red jacket with lovely feathering.   Strongly boned legs and tight feet moved out well but with not the same drive as the bitch. HOUGHTON’S FIELGAR FLYIN THE FLAG ATC  Just 7 years this solid well coated and conditioned Buff dog whose coat was so correctly trimmed,  presented and in fabulous condition.  For me, he was on the big side of the standard and not balanced enough being too long in his back. On the table he was nice to go over but had been previously upset so was worried about me handling his rear end.  Masculine head little strong in skull, defined stop, lovely dark expressive eyes, well positioned and hung furnished silky ears.  Good neck to sloping shoulders on a firm backline to well set and carried tail.     Nicely angled front with good depth of chest, elbows well held in at forelegs, correctly boned, compact presented feet.  Good body well ribbed back little long in loin.  Muscular hindquarters correct stifle and let down hocks.  Powerful mover and sound. DUBOIS’  WITHAMFRIARY VENI VIDI VICI  is an attractive and well built 9 months youngster with a nice square outline.  Holds head proudly which was long and lean with a slight stop and defined median line.  Nice kind expression from large dark brown eyes good chiselling under her eyes.  Strong muzzle with a large spongey nose.  Nice ears well set.  Powerful neck to her shoulders well laid back.  To a correctly shaped backline to correctly set tail and used tail.  Nicely angled front with good depth to her chest, good squarely shaped body with ribs well sprung back.  A beautiful white underlay of a Chestnut coat well marked and having that lovely gloss and sheen.  Very powerful rear for one so young, good bend of stifle and strong hocks.  Strongly boned legs with well arched tight feet.  Powerful mover who moved out well. BP

  1.  MOULINS’  GUNSYN GINONTHEROCK DEI MAJIKISLES Just over 2 years this beautiful bitch on the stack with a truly square outline and that correct build and balance.  A fabulous constructed head, nicely long and lean with enough fore face width, correct occiput, stop, median line and chiselling.  Deep clean muzzle big spongey nose, so feminine in look with lovely dark eyes, well set and hung leathers.  Powerful neck to sloping shoulders and into a correct backline onto a strong croup with well set and carried tail.  Lovely strong squarely built body with good ribs. Covered in a short dense orange and white roan jacket.   Strong oval legs and tight feet, muscular croup and thighs and stifle and hocks and really good length with a powerful stride and very sound.   2. DUBOIS’ WITHAMFRIARY AFFASCINANTE Nice outline to this just over 3.5 years old bitch but not as squarely built or with the substance of my winner.  Very feminine long lean head, not quite the strength in the development of my winner but having the correct lean cheeks, chiselling and moderate stop with median line.  Well placed and held ears with a kind expression from dark brown eyes.  Good muzzle and nose.  Strong neck into a sloping top line of correct build to a strong croup with nice tail set on.   Having a good body with a clean well conditioned Orange roan coat with nice gloss.   I would have liked more depth to her chest, body is well ribbed, sprung back into a good loin.  I would have liked stronger bone on front legs and stronger quarters.  Very sound with a lovely stride. Inclined to pace on the move and when settled lacked rear drive, has sound front action but needs more reach.   BD RBOB

COXS’ TIROEN TIGER LILY (ATC) Litter sister to the limit winner but on a much smaller and finer build.  Loved the outline size and build of this so very feminine bitch.  Very attractive well built head, lovely skull with ears set on level with the eye, nice gentle stop, lovely almond-shaped eyes, of good colour but could be darker, nice fill under her eye, well chiselled.  Correct muzzle and jaw.  Lovely toned neck into well laid back shoulders into a firm level backline to well set on and held tail.  Lovely overall balance to her body well ribbed back into a short loin, a good depth and substance and all covered in a beautifully trimmed and presented fine textured gleaming coat of very dark liver and white.  Lovely front angulation with depth to chest, hindquarters well toned with good return of stifle and let down hocks.  She moved out on well boned legs and tight feet very soundly with reach and drive.  BB BOB

Good strength of the neck into her topline just needs to firm.  Is carrying a good body weight and some substance which is pulling her backline down a fraction.  Nice tail well set and carried.   Well ribbed back into a strong loin, lovely Cream coat well conditioned and presented with nice undercoat.  Well boned fore legs with tight feet, hindquarters well toned and with a good return of stifle and let down hocks.  Very happy sound mover with good side stride and sound both ways.
